International Foundation Programme
What is it?
An International Foundation Programme is generally a six-month to one-year course that helps to bridge the gap between overseas education systems and the UK's. Many education systems outside the UK operate over 12 years which doesn't fulfil UK universities' 13-year requirement for undergraduate study. An International Foundation Programme is taken before an undergraduate course to help to fill this gap, and it also enables you to improve your general and academic English skills.
Many universities either provide their own foundation programmes or have partnerships with an external institution, school or college.
