What is it?
Undergraduate study allows you to immerse yourself for an extended period of time in a subject area of your choice.

Bachelor's degree (typically 3-4 years)
Higher National Diploma (1-2 years)
Foundation Degree (1-2 years)

Overall length of study in the UK is shorter than the United States which makes it cheaper.

Bachelor's Degree
The most popular form of study and most commonly recognised international qualification
Bachelor's qualifications are highly regarded by international employers
You can often combine two subjects (area of study can be single, joint or combined)

As you progress through the course there are many opportunities to specialise in a particular area of study
Higher National Diploma
Tend to be vocational courses
Students can progress to the 2nd year of a Bachelors degree
Foundation Degree
Typically vocational courses
Assist with progression into degrees that require specific technical skills/knowledge, such as art/design, hair/beauty, spa management and retail
Graduates can enter a Bachelors degree at 3rd year after successful completion
Entry requirements
IELTS can range from 5.5- 7.0 depending on the university and level of study
Completion of a high school certificate in your home country (13 years) or an International Foundation Program
Cost
Art/design courses £7,000 to £9,000 per year
Humanities courses £7,000 to £9,000 per year
Social sciences courses £7,000 to £9,000 per year
Science courses £7,500-£12,000 per year
Engineering courses £9,000-20,000 per year
Clinical courses £10,000 to £24,000 per year
