Accounting is the recording, reporting, and analysis of the financial transactions of a business. During many accounting and finance degrees you will learn to prepare and use financial information within the context of the economic and legal environment facing businesses today.

As the degree progresses, the options for specialisation increase and students can combine their accounting degree with other subject areas including management, finance, economics, business and law. 
It is important to note that accounting is substantially maths-based throughout the course and students should have a strong maths background to meet the entry requirements.
