What is accounting?

Accounting is the recording, reporting, and analysis of the financial transactions of a business. During many accounting and finance degrees you will learn to prepare and use financial information within the context of the economic and legal environment facing businesses today.

    It is important to note that accounting is substantially maths-based throughout the course and students should have a strong maths background to meet the entry requirements.
