What is environmental studies?
An environmental studies degree will develop your knowledge in regards to the earth’s natural systems, the diversity of living things, their relationships with their environment, and their significance on local and global scales. There are also areas of study around environmental processes, environmental change and management, environmental sustainability, and exploration of the relationships between science and society.

This course links closely with Geography and Biology, and hence straddles both earth and social sciences, which can lead to either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Students should feel confident with maths and sciences if looking to take the Bachelor of Science route.
