What is Languages?

Language degrees involve the in-depth study of one or more languages of your choice and can usually be found under two categories – modern languages, which are studied mainly for the purpose of communication, and classical languages, which are older, rarely-used languages studied out of cultural or linguistic interest (such as Sanskrit, Latin, Classical Chinese and Attic Greek).
