What is Marketing?
Marketing is the study of communications-based processes for influencing targeted audiences. It can start with research and continues through to market segmentation, business planning, and execution, ending with pre- and post-sales promotional activities. While originally seen as a creative industry, the developing nature of marketing in our society has turned it into a social science that utilises aspects of psychology, economics, anthropology, and sociology.
