What is Mechanical engineering?
Engineering degrees cover all things related to developing, providing, and maintaining infrastructure, products, and services that society needs – from researching how to manufacture a product to building bridges and roads. Physics and maths are always core ingredients, but for mechanical engineering there is also a heavy focus on IT and business. Mechanical engineers tend to focus on the development and processes of products ranging from small components to large machinery.
