What is TESOL?
TESOL is short for ‘Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages’, it is also known as TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and is aimed at educators wishing to concentrate on teaching the English language to non-native speakers at a variety of levels, from primary through to adult education.

Although the major modules concentrate on the structures and elements of the English language, such as grammar, phrase structure, phonetics, and vocabulary, it is important to note that TESOL courses aim to teach students not English, but rather how to teach English.
